Cupcakes and more...

Hello bloggers. Sorry I've not posted for another while....yet again....but I've not been in a card making mood at the moment. I have two days off a week which gives me plenty of time for some crafting but lately it just has not been happening for me. I think I need a holiday...somewhere with some sunshine..lol

Although.... I have been doing a bit of baking. This is something I did a lot of when I was first married, but then fell away from it when Caitlin was born. I have enjoyed getting back into it again.

I love,love,love Cupcakes so I thought I would start with them first....

My first attempt.....Mini Cupcakes

They didn't come out of the silicon mould very well.....my fault....I was too impatient and didn't let them cool long enough lol.

Next, I thought I would have a try at making Whoopie Pies. It was just a spur of the moment thing. They did not look great at all...lol but they tasted GREAT...yummy.

I made them again yesterday. They look better this time but Im still making them too big...lol.

They spread out when they are baking......

Mmm... lots of Icing and Buttercream Icing. So much for my diet!!!

I always make things to take into work so I promised that I would make them more Cupcakes. I made these Cupcakes slightly bigger...

A mixture of Chocolate and Vanilla.
Caitlin prefers the Chocolate and I prefer the Vanilla....delicious.

I also took a mad notion to start making my own bread....would you believe it lol.
Never made bread in my life but went out and bought a bread maker a couple of days ago...lol.
So today ....I made... BREAD...woo hoo

This is the small size.

And do you know what...it even tasted great!!!!
